AgroParisTech Innovation in a nutshell
AgroParisTech Innovation is a “Structure de Recherche sous Contrat (SRC)” which is developing research and innovation activities on behalf of AgroParisTech.
Its purpose is to promote and support transfer and innovation activities from AgroParisTech laboratories. It is therefore an essential instrument of the innovation and technology transfer policy of the institution.
To fulfill its missions, AgroParisTech Innovation manages a large number of research contracts, with fundamental as well as applied orientation.
From the first contacts and steps, AgroParisTech Innovation deals with the contractual relationship between a private or public partner wishing to implement a new technology, innovative methods, complex experimentation and the scientific team responsible for carrying out the project.
Therefore, it provides a valuable help in setting up projects and negotiating contracts with partners, in terms of legal, strategic, financial and intellectual property support.
This “SRC” is, alongside the Research and Innovation Office, involved in the “Innovation and Transfer Unit” set up by AgroParisTech.
