“EuFooD-STA” project aimed at boosting innovative education & training for students, targeted towards the needs of the industry, thus increasing their employability.
The consortium includes 7 universities (AgroParisTech, France – BOKU, Austria – University of Teramo, Italy – University of Leeds, UK- University of Honhenheim, Germany – University of Coimbra and Catholic University of Porto, Portugal), 3 food companies and 11 multiplier organisations and training providers based in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and UK.
“EuFooD-STA” established an independent virtual platform with local hubs in different regions, as an organizational frame for international and sustainable collaborations between industry and academia in the food sector.
Several activities have been held : compilation, structuration and analysis of collected and reported demand and needs from the food industry (WP.1), creation of the EuFooD-STA network, which will be an organizational innovation hub to bridge the gap between academia, industry, and other key stakeholders in the food sector (WP.2), development of many webinars on different food related topics (WP.3), organization of a virtual conference about entrepreneurship (WP.5).
