Visa obtention
European Union (UE), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland nationals do not need any visa whichever the length of the stay.
The type of visa required to enter in France depends on the length as well as the of the aims of the stay, except for particular cases.
Right after your admission, you’ll have to start the visa prodecure. Indeed, it can take some time (up to 2 months) and your stay in France can be cancelled if you have not started the procedure on time. You’ll have to contact the Campus France Office from your town/country.
You also need to create an account on the platform Etudes en France and follow the instructions. Warning, AgroParisTech is not connected to the platform (Case n°3) except for Mastères Spécialisés Gestion de l’Eau and SILAT (Case n°1).
This procedure is mandatory in the following countries and regions : Algeria, Argentina, Benin, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, Chile, China, Colombia, Comoros, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Gabon, Guinea, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mexico, Morocco, Niger, Nigeria, Peru, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Togo, Tunisia, Turkey, United States, Vietnam.

Students with VLS-TS long stay visas must validate it online within 3 months following the arrival in France : ANEF-séjour
If you have a 3-month VCS short stay visa, you do not need to complete this procedure.
